The King of Fighters
The King of Fighters began as a crossover fighter featuring SNK's Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury series, but has since become the company's flagship franchise.
Maggie Q Joins King of Fighters Cast
I will admit that she's a good-looking lady, which, apparently, some people seem to think is more than enough for the video-game crowd. Variety reported yesterday that Ms. Q will be appearing in the upcoming King of Fighters motion picture alongside Sean Faris, Ray Park, Will Yun Lee, and David Leitch. Considering the high level of quality already established by previous fighting-game movie adaptations (Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Dead or Alive) I suppose they may have a point.

King of Fighters movie? is there actually a market for that franchise? I can (somewhat) under stand Street Fighter but KoF?
When she reaches for the detonator in MI: III you can see her panties, and she is wearing Grandma Panties. She is Buchenwald thin and in a sexual situation I would do absolutely scandalous things to her, but she'd never allow such a thing to happen because I'm not a physically attractive human being.
Anyway Ryan, I will keep you up to date on all the sexy ladies I find in film or otherwise that appear to be wearing Grandma Panties. Have a good night!
I love the KoF franchise, but I have to feel a bit queezy at the thought of a motion picture being made of it.
Burn Hollywood, Burn ...I fucking hate you!
Dead or Alive was an Oscar-worthy film, I don't care what anyone (everyone) else thinks.
Oh well, this can't be worse than the Chun-Li movie. I really think you should leave fighting game adaptations to anime - it's the only medium which can capture the absolute weirdness of fighting game canon.
Mortal Kombat was the least horrible of the lot. Primarily because there wasn't a whole hell of a lot of the universe to screw up when the first one was made.
Regardless, I bet wardrobe has a gigantic pile of severed glove fingers conveniently on hand.
video game movie adaptations are like the comic book movie adaptations. sucky at first, give it several years until the right people come in to give it direction and better casting
The only videogame film adaptation that I have seen that was "ok" was Hitman.
Remember the Double Dragon movie? *watches people writhe in anguish as their synapses explode*
