TeamTNT created the TNT: Evilution portion of Final Doom. The content was originally developed as a free megawad but shortly before release was bought by id Software to use in Final Doom.
The group continued to produce free maps, including several multiplayer and singleplayer megawads. TeamTNT also developed the Boom source port, a project intended to fix bugs and limitations in the original Doom while maintaining the original spirit. Essentially making the engine mapper-friendly without focusing on graphical enhancements.
