There are too many fucking conflicting views out there, so I'll come to the public, I guess.

I wanna pick this up for my girlfriend for christmas, but everyone in the UK either shows it as sold out, or not out until the American release date. GB shows it as already out, and so does the HMV website, and wikipedia but other places are a bit more inconsistent. If anyone could give me a conclusive answer, that'd be swell. I'd appreciate being able to buy it.

Out of all the sources available I would trust thisthe most, and according to that link it should be out. It may have had a very limited release run and more are coming in late January it seems.

Checking most retailers it seems they are all out of stock as well, only one that isn't is play.com as they are taking pre-orders for a 27/01/2012 release.

It's out now. Play.com and ShopTo have it in stock. I've never played a Tales game before but I'm getting a 3DS soon and I'm thinking of picking it up.

You should. I'd rank it as the second best Tales game (Vesperia is the best). Worth several playthroughs...so long as you can handle the incredible amounts of Japanese cheese.

I got this thing as a christmas present
