    The Super Shotgun (also referred to as a Combat Shotgun) is a double barreled shotgun that first made it's appearance in Id's Doom II. The SSG is three times as power per-shot as the traditional single barreled shotgun, although it must reload after less shots and takes longer to reload. The SSG unloads 20 pellets per shot unlike the single barrel which shoots 7. Both the single and double barrel shotguns use the same ammo.
