After rescuing
Qwark in
Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal,
Ratchet and
Clank are contacted by Sasha, commander of the Starship Phoenix. After dropping Qwark and his monkey off in their jungle-themed room, Ratchet and Clank are left to explore the space ship. The Starship Phoenix is equipped with a weapons vendor* and armor vendor along the eastern edge of the ship. If you head down the corridor on the western side down to the end, you'll find Ratchet and Clank's room equipped with a VG-9000 gaming system, perfect for playing vid-comic books you've collected on your adventures. Branching off from the hall to the south is the trophy room. Trophies are collected through discovery as well as by completing difficult tasks, like getting all of the skill points or weapons. Directly north of the trophy room is the virtual training room where you compete in an Arena style game as well as try weapons before you buy them. Head north to the bridge and you will be taken to the command center. Here is where you will receive most of your missions as a member of the
Q-Force, both from Sasha and from Qwark.
* If you have a save file for the original Ratchet and Clank, you can receive a discount on weapons and upgrades.
Ratchet: Deadlocked
The ship also makes a brief appearance in
Ratchet: Deadlocked. The game starts showing Ratchet as the new commander of the ship. The ship is then attacked and Ratchet is abducted.
