Word on the street is that the Wii and 360 versions are pretty much completely different games (entirely new levels, different ratio of Sonic to Werehog levels, different art direction, etc). Is the PS2 version the same as the Wii release and is the PS3 version the same as the 360 one?

Has anyone here played through more than one version and feel comfortable enough detailing the differences between them and/or possibly splitting this into a second entry (if the changes really are that significant)? For example, are the changes as major as the ones between Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Montreal's different versions of Splinter Cell: Double Agent?

There are two versions, the PS2/Wii versions and the 360/PS3 versions.

They have the same ratio of Sonic to Werehog levels, and the Werehog levels are the same design in both versions. The daytime stages however are different in both versions, as the 360/PS3 versions of the stages were made by Sonic Team and the PS2/Wii versions were made by Dimps, which is the developer of the Sonic Advance and Sonic Rush games.

They both have the same art style, but the PS2/Wii version does not have hub worlds like the 360/PS3 versions do. On the PS2/Wii version, they are replaced by menus.

Other than that, and the graphics engine, they are similiar enough to have one page, although you could have sections within the page.
