Seems like none of the video download options are working.

As a snowboarder I would like to take a moment to explain the spin mechanics. They make more sense using the directions tbh. When you are setting up for a spin in real life you will often wind your body one way and then twist it the other way off the jump creating more spin the other direction. In the game you hold B(or X) one way as your approaching the take off to wind your jump then hit the opposite button to spin that direction. Hope that helps.

Rider's Republic Beta was extended from Aug 23-Aug 28 to over the weekend (Monday the 30th) since Ubisoft is awesome and wants us to enjoy the game.

I have spent probably 5+ hours just skiing down rocks, biking down snow, launching the snowmobile 20 yards off jumps .... and can't wait for this game to come out. As someone who spent their entire life skiing and downhill mountain biking until becoming disabled this game puts a smile on my face like no other.

The sense of speed in Rider's Republic is incredible, when you are in first person and going 130 km/h on a bike down hill it actually feels like you are traveling at unrealistic speeds dodging trees and praying you won't slam into a wall.

I enjoyed Steep but burnt out on pretty quick since it was pretty much more of the same, but being able to just switch from bike/snowboard/ski/snowmobile whenever you want is so much fun.

My one complaint is literally just remove the jet pack and everything it involves. That thing sucks unbelievably bad to control and is not fun to race either.

That cartoon was legit. Do that more often. Really good!

I really hope they don't put these animated clips in UPF anymore, as I'm not really a fan of that sort of content. It was just a huge turnoff and I skipped it when watching it the show on my own. Just let them be separate releases for people that want it like the other show that seemed to stop when the change happened.

I'm more of a Killer Is Dead kind of guy.

As someone who flew on the 15th anniversary of 9/11, I can say that the airport staff does not put more thought into it than 'put the news on the TVs' and the news will absolutely be showing the footage.

The "trickster" control scheme in Rider Republic is way better than the default as it uses the sticks, for anyone confused along with Rory for the face button spins/tricks.

I always kind of assumed that Jeff's whole TV-is-off-to-the-side-and-I-have-to-look-in-the-other-direction-now thing was due to the size and dimensions and whatnot of his old office. But now that he's moved and has the exact same setup... is that what he likes? It just seems weird.

Deathloop is aching for more stylised visuals. That soundtrack and those trailers were great but the game itself looks kind of meh visually.

Assuming it reviews well I'm gonna buy and play it, but I 100% agree. The original reveal trailer for the game had none of the grindhouse style to it, so it almost feels as if they had to put something together stylistically for the marketing. Nothing about the game itself reflects the pulpy, over-the-top action film feeling.
