What Does the Fox Say is very much still relevant. I hear it at least weekly.

First three seasons of the X Files are really good. Some of those episodes are amazing. Very, very recommended.

The X-Files series was the best when it WASN'T all-aliens, all-the-time. Investigating monsters from folklore, escaped-lab-beasties and urban legends was where the show really shined.

I'm playing StrangerVille currently and it is fun, just as Abby says. I'd love for Abby to come up with some new Sims feature since she's so good at creating Sims and Thirteen Deadly Sims was one of my alll time favorite features on the site. Or maybe turn Dan loose with some Sims mod content (the SFW kind of course) with Abby's guidance. Could be interesting! :)

Best way to describe X-files to someone in 2019 is probably that Supernatural aped it a lot, especially the horror sequences and tension building. The literal supernatural angle, the opening being a horror movie-esque scene as and ongoing thing, for sure. Imagine if instead of a brother it's a will they, won't they with a scientific skeptic a la Bones.

Small correction to something in the video, they do infact record new Simlish lines with new game content. This is as recent as 5 months ago...

I too assumed they just recycled whatever the recorded for the base game but if new packs are creating new animations, new interactions, etc, they would need to record new VO for the sims to fit specific instances that existing VO didn't cover.

I love how Abby responds to Fox's name just like most characters in the show do.

Edit: Alex's description of Steve Mulder as the CW reboot Fox Mulder is dead on. Also, I'm going to disagree with Alex's assessment of "the first few seasons are good." Season 1 is actually pretty weak overall, with only a couple good episodes. 2 - 6 are more consistently good, but there's still a lot of bad to mediocre episodes. I think the best way to watch X-Files in 2019 is to look up a 'best episodes' guide and just watch those. Like Star Trek, it was a victim of too long seasons with a lot of filler, so episodes range from being some of the best TV ever made, to total garbage.

Here's an okay guide, not perfect. They recommend "First Person Shooter" which is one of the most embarrassingly bad video game episodes I've seen a TV show do, and that includes NCIS and SVU. It's mostly good about the skip recommendations though.

Fox is apparently a disgusting human being - he took a crap with this undies still on, and then didn't even bother to clean up afterwards. Worse still, he ate in the middle of it (and the "let me get this out of my pocket" animation made it look like he was eating his own shit).
