I was at Revolution in 2020 to witness the Young Bucks vs Omega and Page. Sunday night's match between the Lucha Bros and Young Bucks may have surpassed that without even being there. And before I watched Sammy's vlog today, seeing Fenix run across the top of the cage gave me a heart attack. Holy shit.

• From the post-All Out press scrum, apparently Ruby Soho became friends with Lars from Rancid, who both came up with the name Ruby Soho and also allowed her to use the song. So perfect.

I've been meaning to watch AEW since, well, it's inception. I guess that now would be a good time to hop on board, huh? Sad that I missed the entirety of Brodie Lee's run, though.

This was my first PPV I ever watched, and had a good time. I don’t think I will ever watch AEW weekly, but I can see myself tuning into the PPVs if the word of mouth continues to stay positive.

I never really gave wrestling a shot for over 30 years (for all the reasons that p much everyone has heard or knows of), until about a month and a half ago when Nick Gage was announced to be coming to AEW for a match. I knew literally nothing about him or even 95% of the AEW roster before dipping in, but somehow I got caught. I'm really not saying anything as well as I want to, but the point I wanted to make was this:

The caption for this PowerBombcast is 100000% true. It turns out that wrestling is goddamn awesome, and I urge everyone who has brushed it aside for their entire lives to give at least AEW a try. It's definitely silly and fake, but it's so much fun silly and fun fake, just like video games and comics and etc.

I think you could just cut all the indie talent like Janella, Kiss, Sabian, Stunt, and nobody would miss them. AEW is finally getting the roster I wanted for NJPW/ROH back in 2016 and I don't care if some Dark jobbers fall to the wayside. The only actual possible loses would be solid hands like The Best Friends or members of The Dark Order, who they've done a good job building up over the last 2 years considering they were a fucking joke in 2019.

You have to listen to the podcast where all this went down between Lars and Ruby. That is the most wholesome shit and it is desperately needed in our current hellscape. It’s at the 51 minute mark.

THE number one thing that Kenny Omega does better than ANYONE ELSE is make you believe every false-finish in every single one of his matches.

From Orange Cassidy to Dante Martin to Christian Cage: I believed each and every single one of them were going to beat Omega for at least a MOMENT between 2.5 and 2.999999.

He cuts promos like Flair, has matches like Bret, and does sketches like The Rock. He's THE BEST.

I want to see a long play on a Kenny Omega face turn.

Page comes back and beats Omega and takes the title. He goes hardcore cleaner for a bit. Tensions rise between him and the bucks and the rest of The Elite. We get to see some Omega v. Cole matches. Throw in some Omega and Bryan matches etc.

Then Ibushi shows up. We get the full face turn and the 3rd run of the Golden Lovers.
