@flashflood_29: This is me too. Haven't been able to make it past about an hour with any of them.

The idea for the system is neat, but I think the lack of seasons from The Quiet Year end up giving the resulting narratives a lack of structure.

Look forward to these every year. Austin is just such a great lead for these things and the crew really seem to get into it. As much as I loved the scenario, I feel the end of the story was flubbed on Abby's turn. It had been building up to a fever pitch and she had the opportunity to wrap it up with a sense of flair or creativity and she just bungled it. Other than that it was a fantastic listen.

@bisonhero: I know I'm very late to this. Just going through old podcasts catching up while bored at work.

But I came to the comments to see if anyone else had the same thoughts I did on this. And you nailed it.

I'm all for roleplaying tabletop games. When people are, you know, playing roles. This was basically a creative writing jam session. Which is fine I guess but man I pretty much lost the plot like halfway through. Then it turned into more and more layers of convoluted nonsense.

Don't get me wrong, still entertaining listening to the crew build this plot.
