Why I got into Rock Band 4 in 2019? Sometimes I wonder, but in short I got hard into RB last year to the point where I decided to get an Ion kit and use it as an intro to learning drumming. I've paid out for the xbox one adapters (that wired one costs hundreds of dollars now....) and am building a platform so the neighbours in my new apartment don't hate me. Hell, if this works out I plan to save up for a decent Roland electric kit!

I would actually love to get into Rockband right now, but the drum set goes for a ridiculous amount of money now, and I don't know how I feel about thrifting around for an incredibly used ps3 drum set at this point.

Looking back at the year's DLC it feels like 90% of it was RBN metalcore or infectious indie pop but honestly? It was a good year. La Bamba and 500 Miles in the same week? Seven? That's so good you gotta be kiddin me

I just remembered Rock Band 4 PC and its failed kickstarter and im sort of sad?

This just makes me wish Alex did a regular Rock Band DLC update series on a monthly or something basis.

My ears perked up when I heard "Babymetal". Man, I'd buy soooooo much DLC in every music genre game if they had more Babymetal tracks. Props to Alex for mentioning the overuse of Gimme Chocolate, their newest album has some bangers that need more exposure :)

This has been my favorite GB Holiday list of the year. I have such a big heart and library for Rock Band but had to leave it behind recently. My spirit lives on in Alex's love for it.

Sunny Day Real Estate was my first concert; to this day one of my favorite bands and Diary one of my favorite albums. Great to see it get some respect here, though would expect nothing less from GBE's version of William Goldsmith. Great list Alex!
