Would absolutely love to see it continue to Stardust Crusaders! It's been a lot of fun.

I will be telling my grandkids about how this podcast still isn't done covering Part 3 if they decide to stick with this asinine bi-weekly release schedule for Stardust Crusaders onward. Recording a month in advance to slowly drip-feed coverage of ~69 minutes of anime makes sense to...who exactly?

This is the dream. I could finally watch along!

I've really enjoyed the show so far. Wish it was more frequent, but I get that it's difficult to do so when the four of you have other responsibilities and are split across three timezones.

Great show! Especially knowing where things go, half the fun for me is seeing you find what's coming up. Would love for it to continue, or a different show of some kind if you wanted a break.

Jojo's has been on my watch list for a long time but honestly without this show I know I would never have got round to it.

So I want to say a massive thank you for doing this, for the work that goes into it and for introducing me to Jojo's.

@doctornieves: To be fair, isn't that the cadence of a normal reaction channel on youtube. They do like 1 episode a week. At least it's not as bad as some channels who intend to watch something like all of one piece and drip out an episode a week then have patrons where they give like 30 a week to instill the hey you got a taste want more mentality. GB could always have tier list and polls priced in (real rich get what they want first) on what to do next and get real scummy but they don't.

These have been so much fun, I hope they continue on with stardust crusaders, which honestly isn't my favourite but it does a great job introducing new concepts and characters that shape the rest of the series.

I really hope they keep going, but the current pace will have to be kicked up a notch to get through Part 3.

Sad that next weeks episode is the last of the season. Hopefully for part 3! (So then we can get part 4. The best part)

Also doing 1 podcast a week for atleast part 3 seems like a good idea due to the length or watching 5 episodes instead of the 3

Jobbing out favorite characters is a staple of action anime. Still a damn shame when they don't get a real chance to shine.

Asking Lucy to google things that are tangentially related to the topic is a fun bit.

I would definitely like them to continue to part 3. Personally, I'm okay with the rate that the podcast is covering the show if it allows them to elaborate more on the episodes. Stardust Crusaders can be drawn out in places, but I think there is plenty for them to discuss. I'm not interested in them catching up to the latest part any time soon if it's not sustainable for their schedules.

Vegeta was upset not because he lost to a woman, but he lost right after becoming a super Saiyan. People really disrespect dbz.

Regarding the revelation that Lisa Lisa was Joseph's mother, they basically already gave that away in episode 21 when they revealed that she was the baby from the ship. Back in episode 10, Smokey reveals that Joseph's mother was the little girl that Erina rescued. Although he says that she succumbed to disease, which must have been been a cover story.

I'm genuinely curious why people were steering Jeff away from watching it on Netflix.

@bill_mcneal: Because Netflix/Crunchyroll subs are inaccurate. They change dialogue, change Stand/character names to avoid copyright shenanigans, and for Part 3 onwards they will be using the tv source which have censorship shadows around Jotaro smoking/gory battles. All of that compared to a good fansub alternative that uses the BD source so no censorship as well as translating everything more faithfully without changing anything? Should be asking why anyone would willingly watch on Netflix tbh

Wonder what the Hard Drive thing they alluded to was about.

Since they asked at the end of the episode, I would love to see this continue through the rest of JoJo.

At the very least I would like them to get far enough to see each character that the podcast art is referencing (so at least through Part 4).

@topcyclist: I think you should go back and watch the original Funimation with the Bruce Faulkner score. Vegeta's character progression is done so well. Hes more offended she's android. He says I'll make something useful out of you, like a toaster. Lmao.

I mean idk if it's a Kai thing but it's in my subs and I hear Piccolo say the japanese word for woman, so while it's bad and makes no sense for either Vegeta or Piccolo, because Namekians are agendered and as you mentioned Saiyans have women warriors too, it's in there.

I think stuff like that is just partly a product of the times, and partly because dragon ball has always handled its main female characters clumsily.
(Which Jojo and a lot of shonen anime also does.)

@cyberspacecat: Kai's the worst. The best way to watch, again, is English. If they made Vegeta mad because he lost to a girl, kinda beats his character. Vegeta's pride was on steroids when he became a super Saiyan. A super Saiyan was the ultimate being. To lose to a man made machine. That's what hurt him. It humbled him when he lost, he cried in the rain. To brimg that to losing to a girl is just dumb. He wanted to be the best. That's why he went back into the hyper bolic time chamber and that's why he let cell become perfect. He wanted proof that the super Saiyan was the best.

Dubbed anime is not my thing, but yea I agree that being beaten as a Saiyan is what hurt his pride even if Piccolo thinks otherwise.

@cyberspacecat: I only watch a few dubbed anime, I like only a handful of voice actors. Yu Yu Hakusho and dbz are on my short list.

@topcyclist: because let's be real, it's the tip top. I've been watching for 30 ga dang years, and still gives me shivers. When Vegeta goes ssj for the first time or when Goku sacrifices himself. Tippiddy tip top.

Kinda hoping for an podcast format tweak after Part 2's over, since IIRC Part 3 is mostly 2-episode 'monster of the week' arcs. I worry the 3-episode podcast format might make the show slightly less satisfying (for all parties) if every other podcast ended with a cliffhanger for a short fight that wouldn't be discussed for another 2 weeks.

I would love it if y'all kept going on this podcast, I've enjoyed every minute of it.

I hope this continues on past Part 2. Part 3 is a lot of fun, and as @VongolaGearX said Part 4 is the best.

I thought when I started listening to this that it would be fun to enjoy people experiencing Jojo's. Now that I've heard people describe Jojo as being dumb 100 times, like Derek Zoolander, I am super impressed with SuperEyepatchWolf's patience. This show is getting pretty cringe for a fan of the material. It started off as a lot of Jojo enthusiasm. But now it feels like people lining up to dunk on him for not being good enough. After all, he didn't hesitate enough before attacking vampire horses. Pretty shameful Jojo! Think of the horses!

I really hope this show continues. This and Albummer are two of my favorite shows on GB since the RV switch. I need Jeff's and Lucy's reactions to the things that are coming up next.

I got into JoJo's thanks to the Capcom fighting game from the late 90s, so actually going through the show with all of you is super fun.

They need to keep doing these shows but that have to pick up the pace. Next season is twice as long as this one, it'll take them forever.

I’ve been enjoying JeffJeff’s a lot (it got me into watching everything that is available) and I was also complaining about the very slow pace of the podcast till I discovered other Jojo podcasts also do 1-2 episodes a week.
