Jan I was cheering for ya during that entire first attempt against Lady Butterfly and then just continuing to keep it up with the subsequent tries until you beat her. You were rockin’ it! I love seeing how your Sekiro skills have improved even with the weeks apart!

I think Jan’s inner gambler really shows itself by how many times he goes in for more when he could step back and heal.

Okay so based on the end of this we’ve regressed back to the first couple episodes.

Jan, if this is a named feature on this site where you play this game, I’m not really interested in watching you just skip around and not pay attention until the game decides to dead end you into a boss room. When you run around frantically to “explore,” a lot of time you just assume you’ve seen what there is to see and never come back later.

You’ve got the combat down, now you just need to…also play the rest of the game.

Man, if this pace keeps up, about 2 episodes from now is going to be a special treat with my personal favorite boss. I think that one is more or less on par with Lady Butterfly in difficulty, so it’ll be interesting to see if Jan solves it early.

Jan's already improving a ton, bet he could have tackled those early areas with no problems now.

By the end of this game, you feel like a full on shinobi.

Don't listen to them Jan... holding block does regain posture quicker, but the key is to deflect and parry attacks and not just hold block the entire time... has to be held strategically for recovery with some brief taps in between to deflect.

lol it's always funny how streams like these have people giving bad/poorly worded advice, and the streamer almost always picks up on them. "Dodging is bad in this game" is such a bad half-truth. It's a very important part of your toolkit, but it's also true that you have to know when to use it. I think you'll do just fine if you take it a little slower and try to really observe what's going on, both in the combat and exploration.
