If anyone's gonna win an Emmy, it's gonna be @jeffgrubb and his daily video game news show.

And damn, this game... I beat it at 30fps, but this looks so much better that I'm reinstalling it again.

We need Tam for at least one episode to counter Jan’s inclination to treat the combat in this like the other From games.

He may think he’s getting in that ass and parrying, but I feel like he’s still a little skittish and only doing it about 50% as much as he could be.

Attacking and doing damage also breaks down their posture so you don't have to exclusively parry.

Cobra Kai freaking RULES. It doesn't make any sense, because it's such a ridiculous concept. I don't understand how it's as good as it is, because it shouldn't be. And yet... it is. I would even say it's in my top 10 favorite shows. I just love it.

I remember seeing a compilation video of streamers being surprised by the WOO guy so im glad Jan got it too. Props to Grubb for leading him to it.

As someone who hadn't really played a From game until Sekiro, I think Jan is doing incredibly well. He's honestly clicking with it way earlier than I did (Snake Eyes) and he could probably steam roll this game in about half the time it took him to beat Bloodborne if he keeps getting better which feels likely. Watching someone go from Sekiro to traditional souls combat is much more a comedy of errors as was my experience going into Elden Ring. That at least left me conditioned for diving into Dark Souls after, but your first souls post Sekiro is a hard surface to get sure footing on.
