    Overview 

    Shaba Games was a game development studio located in San Francisco, California and had one mission: "To make the best damn games in the world." Shaba Games was founded in September 2007 and acquired by Activision in 2002. After seven years with Activision, the studio was closed down on October 8, 2009. At the time of closure, around thirty employees were let go.
     
    Shaba Games has produced games including Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball, Magic: The Gathering, Shrek Super Slam, and ports of Tony Hawk series. The studio's last game it was involved with was Spider Man: Web of Shadows, co developed with Treyarch Studios
