Safeco Field was built in 1999 to be the new home of the Seattle Mariners after they moved out of the aging Kingdome. It is one of the premier baseball parks in the United States. The stadium was built with a retro style while still featuring high level technology and concessions. It features a retractable roof. Center field is 405 feet from home plate, left field is 331 feet, right field is 326 feet, left-center is 390 feet, and right-center is 385 feet.
It was renamed to T-Mobile Park in 2019 when the twenty year deal with Safeco ended.
