Top 9 games of 2018
making this list made me realise I didn't really play much new shit in 2018. Maybe that's a good thing. I dunno.

Lethal League 1 quickly became a mainstay in my home and the sequel easily replaces it as the definitive version of the game.
The sequel to the game of the previous generation (tied with Geometry wars 2 and Mass Effect 2, naturally) Red Dead Redemption 2 is undeniably, bigger, more beautiful and more immersive than ever.
Continuing Rockstar's trend of focusing more on production values than gameplay, RDR2 delivered simultaneously my best, and worst, game of the year. So I guess that makes it a 3?

I'm not sure what made this game more frustration, the throw or the addition of a fourth chef to the team. Either way, this was my 4h favourite experience of the year.
I love the vibe these games create. To this day, it's unlike any other video game I've played.
[PC VERSION WAS RELEASED THIS YEAR SO IM COUNTING IT AND WOT]
More Hitman is what i wanted, and that's exactly what I got. I look forward to digging deeper into this one in 2019.
I've yet to really dig into this one but it's already ticking all the right boxes. FTL was something I chipped away at for years and I fully expect to do the same here.
The first Call Of Duty to captivate me since Black Ops 1 deserves a spot on the list.
Why did I put an ungodly amount of time into this game? Well, I guess ultimately it was fun. There was something incredibly satisfying about materialising a fence and then poking a zombie through it and even after I was done with the game, I still found joy in that simple act.
