System Link Battles - Getting 4 sets of Xbox's, TV's and People, getting them in 4 rooms of the college house, and having all out wars in our custom playlists was an absolute blast....except for Fubu's ridiculous sniping skills
Yeah. I know. Call me what you will but this was the biggest impact I ever felt playing a game. It may have been replaced over the years, but you never forget your first
I play Final Fantasy III (6) every year. I have it on my computer as a rom. I crank up the Game Genie codes and use the turbo speed through the fights just so I can experience what I think is the best story in a game of all time.
And the music is great too.
Back in the Dreamcast days I had a RIDICULOUS streak of wins over my room mate Dean. Every day he would come back for more, and every day I would send him packing.
4-Player Splosion' Man. Nuff' said.
Discover the Discworld. Terry Patchett's magical world of a disc that sits on the back of 4 elephants, who themselves stand on the back of a giant turtle hurtling through space.
The Game was a mediocre adventure game, but the comedy (voiced my Eric Idol) and the world has launched me into actually reading. That's right folks, books.
I was in an NBA Jam Tournament at a game store called Zappers. I lost in the 2nd round, and didn't like the game that much, but the thrill of the tournament was awesome.
My Uncle Rick got a 3DO when I was a kid and I loved it. It was one of the first big CD consoles. Had a Road Rash game that was awesome. No matter how far back you were, if you drove well enough, you could get back to the front of the pack
My friend showed me this game, and began having a hilarious conversation with the on screen PacMan who was not doing anything he was told to do. I don't know why I found it so funny, but it hurt to move when I was done laughing.
Making my way through the airplane graveyard, killing 6 juggernauts with my buddy, and getting the 69th and final special op star.
The whole game was a great journey, but when your horse falls, it's a jarring moment. Your only friend through this insane journy is gone.
