Doritos: The Game Comes to Xbox Live Arcade

Dinosaurs love tortilla chips. It's science.
Well, at least it sounds better than the Yaris game. This week's Xbox Live Arcade release is Dash of Destruction, and it's a free game put together as the end result of a long-running Doritos contest. Essentially, entrants were asked to come up with an idea for a Doritos game. Five finalists were selected and their ideas were put to a vote. This game comes from the mind of Mike Borland, and it... kind of sounds OK?

Here's the Xbox.com description:
Doritos' Dash of Destruction is a fun and fast-paced racing game. Blast your way through cities as a hungry Tyrannosaurus Rex, as you chase a speeding Delivery Truck full of tasty Doritos. Or, try zooming in and out of the T-Rex's path of destruction as the speedy Delivery Truck in search of your Doritos drop-off points. For even more racing madness, Chaos mode lets you and three friends charge through cities eating Trucks or trying not to be eaten. In Zen mode, eat the Truck to become the Truck!
It's Truck vs. T-Rex is a duel to the death! I can get behind that. Also, it's from NinjaBee, the guys that did Cloning Clyde and A Kingdom for Keflings. So the team's already got some Xbox Live Arcade chops. Even though it's promotional in nature, it's sort of cool to hear about a game that was conceived by, like, some dude.

For the record, my Doritos game would essentially be The Legend of Kage, but you fling chips instead of ninja stars. The ninjas eat the chips on contact and, being fully satiated, blink out of existence. Then you save the princess and it turns out she's made entirely of Doritos. So you eat her. Dude, I should have entered.
