BioShock 2 For Everyone... Simultaneously!

Here's a quick BioShock 2 story that's sure to put a few minds at ease. CVG received word from 2K that the release of BioShock 2 would be simultaneous on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. You may remember that PS3 owners had to wait like a year for the release of the previous game.

Other recent news includes the lack of a subtitle, which means the initial "Sea of Dreams" bit has been ditched. Also, apparently the multiplayer isn't cooperative. Does that mean we'll be having 16-player plasmid-powered deathmatches? A one-flag CTF variant where the "flag" is actually a Little Sister? A capture-and-hold mode where vitachambers give node-controllers forward spawn points?

OK, I'll stop just applying the same five first-person multiplayer modes to BioShock. You get the general idea. Anyway, 2K hasn't started talking about what, exactly, the multiplayer will contain. Details on that will be coming in the near future. Incidentally, we're due to get our own look at the game in the weeks ahead, so be sure to keep your eyes open for that.
