EDIT2: Some other threads have more accurate lists started, showing specific region compatibility, etc. Check ps3trophies annnd NeoGaf for those. I will try to cross check with this GB list once I have the chance. Be sure to say your region if you contribute, because that apparently matters in some cases.

SO, as you may already know, Sony has put out an initial list of PSP titles that are officially supported by the Vita. You may also know that by using a PS3, you can play more games that are not on that list. Googling up info about this subject, I stumbled upon this nifty Gamespot thread where folks are compiling their own lists of what does and does not work. I made my own contribution to the list,so I thought I would share it with fellow GB Vita owners. Maybe We can throw some extra manpower behind this so we get a bigger list!

I contacted Grip Games when I noticed The Impossible Game wasn't working, and made them aware of the US problem, which they weren't aware of previously. Be sure to contact devs/pubs of games you would like supported! You never know, they just might go out of their way to fix it!+

Thanks for the link to the PS3 workaround. I haven't used it yet, but I have a few games that are not downloadable from the Vita store.

@Djratchet: Um... Isn't Might and Magic Clash of Heroes a PSN/DS game? I'm fairly sure that there's no PSP version, unless a port has been announced recently...

I just want to play Phantasy Star Portable 2.

Someone needs to confirm if Work Time Fun works I mean... thats the whole reason the PSP existed right? RIGHT?

Not sure if they have been mention yet...both Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins and WTF (Work Time Fun) are fully functional on the Vita

I can't get my Vita to see the Metal Gear Portable Ops games. I even tried downloading them again. Weird that it worked for you but not for me. I was looking forward to using that second stick for camera.

Cladun: this is an RPG! definitely works. I've spent more time playing that than anything else on my Vita.

You can add Star Wars Battlefront II to the list of games that work. It's pretty awesome on the Vita, too with the right analog stick remapping.

Just bought Breath of Fire III and right on boot it tells me I have insufficient space on memory stick duo. The game actually works but there is no way saving your progress :'(

Update: Just sent an E-mail to see if they can release a patch or anything to be able to fix it.

I think some games like Metal Gear Portable ops must work in some regions but not others. I know Killzone is this way, works US but not EU. May be worth noting what region you are in if you post a working/not working game.

Wait, can you confirm that Gran Turismo works? Because it wasn't on the official list that Playstation published.

The Red Star does not work. Vita doesn't see it when trying to transfer downloaded games from my PS3 to Vita.

@Hay_Wire:YES Gran Turismo works via ps3 transfer.

@cosi83: If you see it on your region's store, then you can download it. I believe that is the case.

Aww, I can't see Renegade Squadron anywhere :( Really wanted to pick that up! Guess I'll settle with God of War: Chains of Olympus and Ghosts of Sparta.

Sorry for the bump. Just got a vita and am trying to play vC2 using the transfer button. Numerous websites say it works but I can't get it to. Any suggestions?

@mest30: What about using Sony's PC client for PSP games? I think it was called Media Go. You should be able to download the game and transfer it using that.

I guess I should be more specific. I got the game to transfer from the ps3 to my vita. But when trying to install it on the vita it says it is not compatible which contradicts many websites that say its possible, including gafs list.
