One of PC's icons, Myst is the surrealistic adventure enough to become your own world. Originally released in 1993 via floppy disk, the game has been rereleased and reissued over the years on CD-ROM with higher quality and improvements. The game is supposedly based on Jules Verne's Mysterious Island, hence its name. With hundreds of captured and rendered images, 40 minutes of original music, 66 minutes of Quicktime, and 2 years in the making, this game is easy for you to experience!

Myst was released back in 1993 and one of the first games to make use of the CD-ROM, featuring pre-rendered backgrounds and video sequences. It turned out to be one the best selling PC game of it time. The Myst: Masterpiece Edition was released seven years later in 2000, upgrading the graphics from 256 to 24-bit and adding hint system, but leaving the game otherwise unchanged.
