Overview
Produced for an era when party games demanded more than just two simultaneous players, the
PlayStation 2 multitap plugs into one of the controller and memory card slots on the console, increasing the total number of controller ports from two to five. Plug a second multitap into the remaining ports on the console for an additional three players. Later versions of the device also provided extra memory card slots, allowing players to keep track of their individual statistics for games that would allow it.
