This might just be me, but as many times as I laughed while playing Comic Jumper, 'Splosion Man has far and away been Twisted Pixel's best playing game so far. You can rightfully understand why I might be a tad jazzed for Ms. 'Splosion Man--and the early co-op beta that Twisted Pixel's announced.

"This type of testing doesn’t happen often in XBLA," said the company on its blog last night, "so we are very excited to be one of the studios to be able to bring this to you."

10,000 players will have a chance to gain access to several player maps--two per week, starting June 6 and ending on June 26. Signing up doesn't guarantee access, naturally, but 10,000 slots means your chances are probably pretty good. If you're going to sign up, though, Twisted Pixel wants you to play.

"The point of this early access program is to gain your feedback on how we can better your online gaming experience, so speak up," the company said. "Your voice will be heard and feedback taken into consideration."

I know how upset I was at myself while playing 'Splosion Man's more challenging stages, so I can't imagine the language that'd come vomiting out of my mouth with a friend. Should be rad.

signed up last night. LOVE 'splosion man, it's easily the best  game Twisted Pixel have put out and after watching videos of ms 'splosion man last night  I'm just as excited for this... some of the insane stuff she says sounds brilliant.

I've never tried harder to like a game as I did Comic Jumper but I just couldn't. Some excellent ideas on display unfortunately mated to horrible gmaeplay. So I believe Patrick you are far from alone in thinking Splosion Man is the better game.

There was a lot of shouting at friends during co-op 'Splosion Man.

Just signed up. Really hope I get a chance to play it, Splosion Man is my second or third favourite XBLA title but I am not convinced about Ms. Splosion Man yet.

I never found any of 'Splosion Man frustrating, I thought it was just the right level of challenge.  Hard yes, but it always felt doable.   
 
Would love to sign up for this, but I've no reason to renew my Gold subscription.

I liked twisted pixel games  they all are insane and remind me back when games did  insane stuff like earthworm jim  or what ever 16 bit insane concept came up back then. 
  
I liked the idea of comic jumper and wanted to finish it but I think it is the worst game the made,  it takes fucking for ever to kill anything even if you keep putting fucking upgrades into your guns damage.   I like hard contra hard,  ninja gaiden nes hard, but comic jumper was about the only game where it annoyed me, and the only reason it was hard was because it took fucking for ever to kill anything and they threw tons of guys at you like in games where you kill stuff in one hti. it was almost like a fucking bullet hell shooter and you had to hold the stick in the direction of one dude forever to kill one dude then dodge the entire room of bullets and other guys you are not shooting at. 
 
Did i mention it takes for ever to fucking kill anything in comic jumper and that is why i stopped playing it?
 
 
 
Ya anyway the maw and splosion man are the best games the made,  they should trash comic jumper unless they plan to fix the game and give him real guns and not the weakist guns in a video game ever created in comic jumper 2. 

I've beaten both Splosion man and comic Jumper, i played the maw but it wasnt my cup of tea, looking forward to the gunstringer and Ms Splosion man, definite signup for me.

Had to sign up for this, I absolutely adored'Splosion Man. 
 
Which reminds me, I really need to secure that S-Rank, just missing the multiplayer cakes. Anyone up for some 'sploding?

I have the S-Rank.  I love this game more than anybody has a right to.  This beta might mean they get the horrific multiplayer lag out of the way.  The only game I'd consider buying when not on a special is this.

My friend and I had tons of fun playing Splosion Man together. Only annoying this about co-op was the copious lag. Hopefully this beta will fix that!
