How do you rate the MGS series?

That's pretty much how my list would go

1,4,3,2.

One was sheer awesome pressed onto 2 CD's.  And four was like an interactive movie.  Which is also cool.  In three, I ate Snakes.  and in two I was Raiden, so yeah.  That's why 2 is last.

This series has only improved with every installment.  Several people will balk at this statement, but honestly the first game in the series has both the weakest gameplay and the weakest story.

Although this thread is a year old I should point out that no one has rated the "Metal Gear" series instead rating the "Metal Gear Solid" main series (i.e. not including spin-off's).
