Warner Bros. Interactive has revealed that the LEGO saga is far from over, and that LEGO Batman 2 is planned for release in 2012. Warner Games President, Martin Tremblay, also revealed in the same interview with the Los Angeles Times, that a new LOTR game, 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' , is due for release in December 2012 before the new Peter Jackson film arrives.

Well the Hobbit game isn't a Lego one ("Lego" would by custom be in the title), I just bunged that tit-bit into this thread for good measure. Although I must say It is quite surprising that Warner's never tried to make a Lego Lord Of The Rings or Hobbit game, despite owning both the film rights and Lego developer Traveller's Tales.

He didn't disclose that information, but I expect who ever made the original is working on this new one.
