So, for lack of a proper DS-10 community (that i can find anyway), why not start one out here?
Post songs, videos, tips, show dates, whatever.

I for one would really like to hear what people are doing

I'll kick it off with the second track i ever made on the thing that i felt actually had structure

I just got my copy of the "game" last night and I'm loving it! I'm still amazed at how much this little piece of software can do...I'll definitely post some of my own stuff when I make something worth posting.

Well now I'm intrigued. Guess I'll pick this up when I go out buying random games with my extra cash.

Edit: Hold on, how do you extract music from the DS?

If I didn't own a DS already, I would have bought one just for this little piece of software.

This thing is pretty damn fun to play around with. Granted my "songs" *cough* aren't exactly great but it's still awesome.
Here's my second creation, pretty crappy but it's more me playing with creating various sound effects.

Insert one end into the DS and the other into the microphone hole of your computer.

It's not bad Sunjammer, I like it, it's dark in parts.

I've been taking my tracks and editing them using FruityLoops. I will post mine when they're finished, unlike Sunjammer :P

Here's my myspace address for a new project I'm doing with a mate of mine. We call ourselfs DS-X, using 2 ds lites and the korg program.
Instead of writing 1 tune using the 16 patterns, we write 16 different tune loops.
Then we we just mix between us, putting in elements and taking out, with us live twiddling knobs and kaos pad tweaks.
This is a 40 min live set we did as a quick demo. But we've played a few gigs out and have played for upto one and a half hours before.

I've noticed one slight problem with the program, the wifi conection doesn't seem to have any timecode information transmited between them. So after about 40min into a set you notice a slight drift in the timing and the beats go out of sync. So far the only cure for has been for the Master to press stop at a well timmed pause, and then start again. That fixes it, and can work with the music.

    Anyhow here's the set.

Dude, taking your tracks out of the DS-10 and further editing them in other packages totally defeats the point. I have a full studio of gear; what this is about is what you can get out of the DS-10. Removed from the DS context, it's a very basic softsynth with a sub-par sequencer and a gentle poke at modularity; you might as well use any other synth then.

Speaking of which; Here's some blerpy electro shit.

who are you talking to sunjammer?  if it's my songs you're trashing, i never edited them with anything other than a fade out and to convert them from wav to mp3.

Dood, I'm impressed with the capabilities of this thing!  So is anyone gonna lay some vocals to some of this shit?

Weltal, I keep listening to your song and thinking about how disturbingly well it works with that avatar of yours.

I'm not trashing anyone's music. I'm just saying posting a DS-10 track that has been edited outside of the DS-10 is pretty pointless

@Sunjammer: I've never owned a synthesizer before, but do have some software on my computer that can arrange + alter stuff. Just because you have all this stuff doesn't mean everyone does and wants to make music whatever way you do.

It's interesting that the stuff posted so far is so much different from what I've gotten out of the thing. I only bought it 2 days ago though, so I don't have anything recorded.
