I don't believe it. It must be a miscommunication of some sort. However, the voice actor for Goofy (Bill Farmer) is pretty convinced that the game comes out in 2015. Here's the link to a twitter tree of these happenings. It's interesting that he says the VA for KH3 is done. That does seem like something he would know almost for certain.

However, Nomura hasn't even finished redesigning the characters! How would this even happen?

It would be hilarious if this is true and Unreal Engine 4 was the reason for the quick dev cycle. Every big Japanese dev will jump to UE4 if that's the case. Especially considering Nomura is the lead on this.

Before clicking on the link I just imagined an investigative reporter rushing a Goofy at Disneyland trying to get some dirt.

I don't know how much I would trust a voice actor when it comes to release dates. They could just have the script done story wise and gotten all the VO out of the way. I wouldn't look to far into it.

There's no way Square Enix would release FFXV and KH3 the same year. It just doesn't make financial sense.

A limited demo doesn't mean much. They could easily release an early demo and still take another year to actually release it.

I personally don't think KH III is coming until 2017. I think it was announced in September of last year that he was transferred away from FFXV to commit full time to KH. But hey, weirder things have happened.

I love Bill Farmer, and interestingly I love Goofy too, but I doubt he knows this for certain.

But who knows. I certainly don't. I never can tell whats really going on at SE at any given time.

They announced that game soooooo early. I'd be shocked if it came out this year, unless they've been misleading people about how early it is, and suddenly they show everything at E3 and it comes out in November.

As a general rule, the voice actors don't know shit about the actual process outside of their forte.
