So with the good job the guys did refining their design and (mostly) piloting well is there any point in recreating their adventure to the Mun? I say no. I say let's push their design to the limit and see what we can accomplish with it!

That was interesting with the use of the same ship, but going to a different and farther moon. Then it became awesome when you picked up the capsule and dropped it back off onto Kerbin.

At the end of Part 4, Bill landed on Mun, planted a flag, and took off again, only to be stuck in orbit around Kerbin. There was some discussion about whether a landing and then a rescue counts as a complete mission. Austin says it should, and I agree that technically it does, even if it takes two ships to do it.

Apparently Bill was somehow slingshotted into a solar orbit sometime since then, most likely by Mun, and I am wondering how they will rescue him now!

Not to make a big thing of it but I have a few health issues - nothing serious, but as a result I don't tend to do these challenges in all one sitting, hence the delay in getting them out. Extended breaks in between don't make for riveting video and the saving / loading might be seen as a bit of cheating since in the videos they do them all in one sitting. I might record some clips for the next one if I can figure out a decent software solution for it.

Hah, thanks! I was hoping against hope that I'd have enough fuel to scratch Kerbin's atmosphere and do some aerobraking but alas, it was not to be. Maybe if I'd done some aerobraking on Duna during my approach I'd have more fuel, but I'm pretty happy it turned out as it did!
