I was at a BBQ earlier, upon my arrival my buddy was on the grill and asked what would I have.  My response, naturally was a "Durger".  My buddy gave me a puzzling look so I took two hot dogs which I cut down the middle and placed them between a hamburger bun with mustard and sauerkraut.

So I was wondering if anyone else is eating Durgers and how do you construct yours?

It would be really awesome if durger catches on.  I like ketchup, mustard, and onions on mine.

Tons of ketchup, little bit of mustard, onions and sauerkraut. Haven't had one in awhile, now that I think about it...

I've had a "durger" only once and it was totally awesome. Best way to eat a hot dog IMO.

Durger is just another word for dog.   The preparation of the dog is irrelevant.

There's more than one way to eat a Durger (Hot dog).  I'm just saying that I like mine in a hamburger bun and was curious as to how others in the GB community make theirs. "
Your original post implies some sort of cross between the two. I originally thought it was intentional, now I know it was not.  :P

It's not. This guy is ruining the durger name. It's just a hot dog.

All grain fed beef, cooked medium with Heinz 57 sauce, salt, pepper, real American cheese, tomato, red onion, pickle (lettuce sometimes), on a buttered, grilled kaiser bun...and banana peppers.  Perfect.

Oh, durger?  Mustard, rellish, and celery salt on bun.  I like beef hotdogs better as well.

Spicy mustard, sauerkraut and some sort of dill pickle.
