do you have a song that you like but everyone around you hates for some reason?
appearantly, nobody seems to like Fireflies from Owl City (...for why, its beyond me.)
Got a song that only you like and everyone hates?
" do you have a song that you like but everyone around you hates for some reason? appearantly, nobody seems to like Fireflies from Owl City (...for why, its beyond me.) "I like that. And that Soul Sister song.
I'm not a music person though.
" do you have a song that you like but everyone around you hates for some reason? appearantly, nobody seems to like Fireflies from Owl City (...for why, its beyond me.) "Ironically, my friends all love that song and I hate it :P
Mine is: Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now
Possibly the most homo-erotic song you will ever hear, but I have a penchant for 80's Power Ballads. Tried singing it in a Karaoke Bar once whilst drunk. Unfortunately, this may have been the reason why, in my very drunken state, and old Queen tried to get me back to his apartment for a spot of fun with his flatmate. Upon realising this, I immediately, had the cab stop and drunkenly stumbled out in the middle of nowhere. True story. And that is why I will never tell anyone I meet that I like that song.
" Probably most songs by Coheed. They are one band my friends and I just do not gel on. "Amen. Love that band. Everyone else comments on the lack of Claudio's testicles.

" Seriously... My Chemical Romance songs are catchy. YOU CANNOT DENY! "
This too. The Black Parade is an amazing pop punk song. It just is. No denyin' here.
I think anything Faith No More related gets some flack from my friends because it's more "rap" oriented. Especially "Epic". I'm the only one ever willing to play that song in Rock Band.
" Seriously... My Chemical Romance songs are catchy. YOU CANNOT DENY! "The Black Parade is seriously a really good album produced by My Chemical Romance; it truly overshadows their past efforts (which I deem to be too screamo/emo for my taste).
As for me, pretty much every Linkin Park song. With them its either absolute love or hate.
Because the song is original, I'm gonna say this counts. My love for Brodyquest is unrelenting, but all of my friends hate it.
There's a lot of songs from the '90's (my favorite era of music) that people find obnoxious that I absolutely love. Probably the biggest one is "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" by Crash Test Dummies. It was popular enough to warrant a Weird Al parody, but I much prefer the original despite how the lyrics are so straightforward and at times...well, dumb.
