Gran Turismo 7 on base PS4

What is the frame rate like? Is it a stuttery mess? I don't want to hustle and grind for a PS5.

@jag9851: I heard this game seems to be running fine on the PS4 base model.

It's not great on the PS5, so I dunno about the last gen console

Eh? It runs stable enough on PS5. By the sounds of it, you lose a bit of detail and lighting on the PS4 but not the kind of thing you'll notice unless you've got them side by side. Load times are the biggest difference.

@sombre: what’s not so good about it on PS5? I’ve played about 15 hours in an unintentional marathon over the past couple days and can’t say I’ve noticed anything at all on the ray tracing mode.

Digital Foundry also put up their comparison. Runs great on my PS5. Sounds like it's solid on PS4 as well. You're just getting less fancy visuals and resolution. And old-school load times. My buddy is playing on base PS4 I think and seems happy with it so far. But ignorance is bliss so lol
