Who here has heard of Pure Pwnage??

I watched the online show at first, and then they released a television series. It was season 3 i think, its about a bunch of gamers hanging out, i thought the show would be continued but i guess the rating weren't high enough.

I did think the TV series was a huge improvement on the pacing though. Especially an episode where Jeremy9some big nerd gamer) brings this club chick home. 

I thought this was going to be more spammage at first... and no I haven't heard of it. Though I would forgotten it anyway even if I had, with such an annoying title.

I am canadian btw, i've watched teh t.v show.

I loved the Pure Pwnage web series but I've never seen the tv show. I've heard it wasn't as good.

I watched both series, the online one was much better. The tv one was pretty ehhhh, some of the jokes were great, but it feels like it was written by someone who has seen some video games and maybe just maybe played one. Enjoyable none the less

I loved it until the story became semi-serious. It just became really weird and stupid with this upcoming war or something and them having super powers and fighting with keyboards. Moreso, the death of Terrence Brown (forgot his real name, sorry) seemed to really put a dent in things and basically made for the death of the web series. I've not watched the TV show, but I remember the cliffhanger that the last episode of the web series finished on.

man, i remember hearing bout this back before podcasts were a thing, back when you could only get them on vinyl.
 
speaking of old things, anyone remember back before podcasts became all corporate when there was stuff like the broken and and diggnation was good and hak.5 and dl.tv and when twit wasn't a media corp was revenge of the screen savers and all that stuff?

It's so weird. I saw the BOOM HEADSHOT video a looooooooooong time ago and loved it but the show is just... weird.

You can watch the t.v show on youtube if you don't have canadian t.v. I found some of the episodes on this channel. Look the t.v show isn't bad at all, it's well written yet slightly over produced. It still has the same type of humor and jokes as the web series. Don't knock it until you tried it.

That show was the shit back when I was a total dork in High School. Me and my friends got a kick out of the "boom, headshot" catchphrase for awhile. I think a lot of the humor is still decent, but I grew out of that phase a long time ago. Cookin' With Dave is WAAAAAY better.

I liked the web series. I've only seen the first episode of the TV show, and I thought it seemed pretty good.

Pure Pwnage is old... I remember that from high school. I didn't know they were still doing it.

My friend showed me them in like 2005. I think only 7 or 8 episodes were out at the time. First few episodes were really funny and I was a fan for a year or so, but meh. Once they started throwing in storylines and stuff it got kind of lame.
