I watched the online show at first, and then they released a television series. It was season 3 i think, its about a bunch of gamers hanging out, i thought the show would be continued but i guess the rating weren't high enough.
Heres a scene from the old internet show

I did think the TV series was a huge improvement on the pacing though. Especially an episode where Jeremy9some big nerd gamer) brings this club chick home.
Who here has heard of Pure Pwnage??
It is at first, but there are just some moment where its epic, i would probably not recommend the whole show just some episodes, though its got more spirit than most tv trash nowadays anyway.
Its just really fun when you hear about your fav game being made fun of in one form or another, especially since the jokes are so esoteric.
Who hasn't heard of pure pwnage? I mean who lives in North america.
I am canadian btw, i've watched teh t.v show.
@HitmanAgent47: Well doesn't seem like anyone has... so far... i can understand why, its a canadian show, but still we are in a gaming community.
I mean don't get me wrong , i don't think the world has enough people who 1. watch the channel, 2. play games that are mentioned for the show to be successful. But i mean i think we would be the small minority who would like it, i think its like episode 3 i would recommend(from the TV show).
Anyways its just weird/fun stuff like setting up a date with a chick he met in a bar inside world of Warcraft or having keyboard battles similar to that no xbox guitar hero south park episode.
" Yeah, like, years ago. "I too haven't heard of them in awhile, they were all the rage in the eighth grade.
I'm twenty now.
I loved it until the story became semi-serious. It just became really weird and stupid with this upcoming war or something and them having super powers and fighting with keyboards. Moreso, the death of Terrence Brown (forgot his real name, sorry) seemed to really put a dent in things and basically made for the death of the web series. I've not watched the TV show, but I remember the cliffhanger that the last episode of the web series finished on.
man, i remember hearing bout this back before podcasts were a thing, back when you could only get them on vinyl.
speaking of old things, anyone remember back before podcasts became all corporate when there was stuff like the broken and and diggnation was good and hak.5 and dl.tv and when twit wasn't a media corp was revenge of the screen savers and all that stuff?
I agree with that semi-serious part getting too much but it sort of reset on the TV show.
@neozeke:
I dunno i liked both, they were different but i thought that in the TV show there was more interaction with like real people which was a big highlight, like that chick at the store who has no idea what his problem is.
You can watch the t.v show on youtube if you don't have canadian t.v. I found some of the episodes on this channel. Look the t.v show isn't bad at all, it's well written yet slightly over produced. It still has the same type of humor and jokes as the web series. Don't knock it until you tried it.
