Why are images required for new people?

I'm trying to add new devs to the "People" section, but images are required. Surely just their name, bio, and credits are enough aren't they? Could this be changed so that images are not required please?

Why not just google a picture? That's what I did with most people I added.

Some people don't have any pictures available.

Here are some samples to show what you could do instead. If you wish to use any of these images, search for their names when adding an image.

There's quite a few people who have no images of themselves on the internet, or as I found, images that are too small for GiantBomb.

I asked Jeff about this a while back. He said it was ok just to put a placeholder image. I used the GIant Bomb bomb.

Yeah, go ahead and use a temporary image for now. We're eventually going to ditch the image requirement for person pages, but that's going to take awhile to fix.

you can also add a picture of  question mark or something if the photo is nowhere to be found
