I can see a lot of people have been asking about sorting the results that are being returned by the API, a quick check through the documentation will highlight that the only resources that allow the sort filter are:
- Videos
- Reviews
I hope this helps some people out. The main reason I have highlighted this is to help people, but also to make a suggestion that the sort filter would make searching the API some much more easier and useful. Allowing developers to sort the results of their search query by the fields as previously mentioned by other members (e.g. 'sort= original_release_date') would be a pretty helpful addition to one of the best gaming APIs I have been able to work with.
