Who has played it so far? I'm curious if the game actually looks and plays significantly better than it previously did. Mind you, I'm a defender of the greatness that is Deadly Premonition, but I don't know if I want to dump money for it again.

The game runs like absolute crap for me. Barely getting 10 frames it seems. Turned off SLI to see if it made it better with zero effect. Definitely would not recommend it until they fix the issues, if they do.

That sounds cool and all, but I'm waiting for the wall-crawler mod that makes them less tedious. Or completely removes them, either one would be good.

That's weird. I'm getting a solid 60fps at 1080p (using the resolution fix link above). Using a single GTX 470 and 331.58 WHQL.

That mod already exists, it's called get the wrench.

I am the only one that finds it weird that a game that launched at $20 over 3 years ago is now being re-released at a higher price? Not saying I don't think the game is worth $25 (or $22.50), but most games cost less when they are re-released, not more.

It amazes me how shitty some weird PC-ports of Japanese games end up being... and then end up being fixed within days, or even hours, by some random dude in his spare time somewhere.
