We all know the survivor A.I. sucks, but I was just working on my Saint achievement to save 50 people, and, well...

Still can't figure out how they managed to survive long enough for me to show up in the first place.
Oh, and if these are the survivors, imagine how challenged the people who are already dead must've been.
 
I just wish there was an achievement for me personally killing all 50 survivors myself.

I just followed a guide. You know you can still have one or two survivors die and still get the achievement. But, Bill is kinda early for you to be making mistakes.

I hated the survivor A.I in that game, no joke I actually finished a few of them off my self because they were so fucking annoying. 

Escort missions are bad enough, but attempting to do these was miserable. I stopped caring after successfully rescuing 10 of them, fighting them the whole way to safety just wasn't worth my time

Nah, man.. I love Dead Rising. LOVE it.. and those survivors were not part of the fun. In a real zombie apocalypse, the survivors would listen to the person trying to save them, not do some of the idiotic crap they end up doing. I admit that when the survivors acted like normal human beings (as much as the video game could emulate,) it added a certain zest to the escort.. But when they run in the opposite direction of your waypoint.. into a group of zombies.. then start yelling for help even though they have a F***KING shotgun..? That gives the game some personality, but I don't consider it part of the "fun."

(I also agree with the above poster.. Even a 0 point achievement for wasting all of the survivors yourself would have been amazing.)

I got past that part with some further diligence. I feel I'm an hour or two (game-time) behind the guide, but that's okay I hope. Because I have the mega blaster I'm praying for some wiggle room in terms of the time.

That's why the real true ending is the one where you say "Fuck it." and let everyone die.

God, I hope you forgive me for not continuing this terrible thing I started. "

For the record I gave up. I got to a part with the 2 girls... Heather and some other bitch? But at the same time I was on a deadline and needed to kill Cliff and save those 3 survivors. The guide wanted me to kill Cliff, save the 3 survivors he had locked up, and pick up Heather and her bitch friend on the way to the Warehouse. Well it just so happens, those 2 girls were being attacked while I was going to Cliff. I couldn't make it all the way to Cliff without these girls dying, so I had to change my route and save them. The only way to do that was not to take them with me to Cliff, but drop them off at the wareheouse, because that horny bitch always wanted to hold my hand before she'd move. So this leaves me an hour (in-game time) to go from the Warehouse to kill Cliff, grab 3 survivoors, take them back to the Security Room, and all before the Scoop chance is lost and the truth fades into darkness. Closest I got was to the roof right outside of the ventilation shaft and I lost my chance. I'm not going to try again because I have to study Japanese bullshit and I shouldn't even be wasting my time on this. I got my new Zune HD and it's so sexy. The end.
