Thanks for being one of the most honest duders out there. Even in the face of a terrifying executive like Adam Boyes this is sarcasm. Really appreciate the shining moments of integrity and honesty that peek out of everything else that goes on in the Ryckertverse.

I appreciate how dan is blunt with his honesty, Jeff still tries to be nice about these things, I liked how this had played out.

What happened exactly?

Dan thought the PlayStation conference was middling, and Twitter was upset with him about it.

Adam looked legit salty to be honest...lol.

I mean, he wasn't the only one, right? The entire staff was meh on the PS conference. Don't know why Dan would get signaled out.

I really just think he found it awkward. Clearly not his idea or what he wanted to do.

I always feel like Adam is a very warm person and he just felt bad about the situation that formed. He didn't seem salty at all to me.

I think it was borne more out of Adam's long running friendship with Jeff. There's a bit of unspoken agreement in his GB appearances that he's primarily there to take a break from his figurehead position and hang out with old friends.

More than anything, I think he was just bothered that JV was brining Dan on and forcing a conversation Adam had already been having all week. It was relaxation time and Adam wasn't getting that. And no offense to Dan but in that situation he was inarguably "the new guy". I've been the new guy and it sucks, and I've also been around the new guy. That often also sucks.

Tough spot all around for both parties, All-Time Great segment both for that awkwardness and despite it.

@aku88: On the third night, during the annual Boyes, Johnny and Lang section, JV got Dan over and thought there would be beef but Adam rightly said that you can have professional opinions and still be friends.

The PS conference seemed fine. Really, they all seemed fine. Nothing interested me, but people into those consoles seemed to be served. Not sure what anyone was expecting. New hardware?
