That's unfortunate. Always enjoyed watching him pitch and his analysis on ESPN. Hope him the very best.

A bit morbid but if he dies his Hall of Fame chances go through the roof, sad but true. Definitely deserves to get in regardless.

Absolutely deserving. Loved watching him pitch.

And guys, his life hasn't been a hell hole since 38 Studios... I mean I don't know what's going on behind the scenes for him, but he works for ESPN and I'm sure he makes good money doing so. he's a great analyst.

    Wish him the best.

I wonder if high stress can be a cause for cancer. Because I'm sure all that 38 Studios stuff got pretty stressful.

I'm trying way too hard to work this into a bloody sock joke ... So I'll just drop it.

Wish him luck in recovery. He's always seemed like a genuinely good guy.

they didn't say what type or stage it's in. hope they caught it quick and it's one of the slower versions.

The article said he also had a heart attack in 2011 and his wife beat melanoma in 2001. Guy has had a rough road.

Dear Universe, please stop being so mean to Curt Schilling. He seems nice.

Wow, hopefully they caught it early. There's so much that can be done for most cancers today. Though, regardless of the outlook, that's just rough on Shilling. The man can't catch a break.
