    After watching the Quick Look I couldn't help but take a gander at the free episode offer.  I also can't be fucked waiting for the PS3 release.  Anyway it seems the free episode isn't available for download till February.  Anyone else getting the same thing...?

    Yes, you have to wait until the 2nd episode is released. 
    Would be a bit silly to give away for free, what others are currently paying for.

    Just buy it, it's only $25 for the whole season, and I can assure you, the first episode it absolutely fantastic.

    I knew there had to be a catch somewhere with it being free.  However since starting this topic I'm tempted to just go for the full season and have the first episode to play RIGHT FUCKING NOW.  I love the Back To The Future movies and that Quick Look really sold me on the game.  I've not played any games on my Laptop for a good long while.  But knowing that the game will play a lot better with mouse control than a PS3 controller, I think it's another reason for me to lay down the cash and grab the full season. 
     
    Here's a stupid question, as this is a download I'm assuming it doesn't matter that I live in the UK, even though the pricing is in dollars ?  It works out at about £16 which is a pretty sweet deal.

    Actually, you just won't get the link to download the client  until February if you registered for the free episode, you can play it now by downloading it here and logging into your Telltale account:

    Just downloaded it from that link and created a Telltale account but when I try to log in it says that I don't own Bttf, am I missing something here?

    @Venatio: I haven't tried that yet, but if you just created an account now then you really don't own the game. The first episode was given away in a free offer, and it's linked to your Telltale account. If you just created an account, it's not linked to your account and you don't get to play the game.

    Doesn't work. I signed up for the free episode when it was first announced. Downloading the game, the launcher asks for my TellTale login and it doesn't recognize me. So the Back to the Future SKU is different from the episode.

    Yeah, it kinda does. Are you sure that your netbook can't run it though? I'm sure if you bumped it down to low, you could get some playable frames.
