It's a cute charming classic ass JRPG. It's a good old JRPG with attack, special, item, escape. Modern JRPGs with 40 different systems during battle are terrible. It's all refreshing to see a personal story not a save the world story, but all the atelier games turn into a save the world thing at the very very end.

Only got a couple of hours into the game but I really do enjoy this one. It changed enough of the core aspects of the game I don't totally know how I feel, but I am really enjoying it right now. Thinking about doing a full day stream on Monday about it. Hopefully that will be fun.
