Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight and I, ZombiePie, am once again honored to be your host as we look back at the site and staff-related news as well as best user-created works from the previous week.
First, if you are reading this when it first goes out, then the Giant Bomb Community Endurance Run is LIVE and happening on Giant Bomb chat! Over there, we will have a rotation of community streams all trying to work to raise as much money as possible for Pencils of Promise, an educational charity that builds schools and sends kids to school in Laos, Ghana, and Guatemala.
If you are reading this after the event is over, no worries, Pencils of Promise keeps charity pages up and open for donations well after charity drives have ended. So, even if you are reading this months or possibly YEARS after the fact, you should be able to head on over to our Team Page to find some community members that still need help reaching their goals. For example, here are some of the community charity pages we have thus far:

Almost everyone on the team has yet to reach their donation goals and are more than happy to take donations of any size. If you can't donate, feel free to tune in and join the fun in chat but also consider sharing some of these charity pages on social media or with friends and family that might be able to donate. Finally, if you enjoy everything I do here and on the weekly Community Spotlight feature on the site, please consider donating to my charity page for Pencils of Promise! I'm presently trying to raise $1,000.
Friend of the site Will Crosby is busy working on a video for Giant Bomb's first year of independence but they need YOUR HELP! They have created a Google forum which allows you to submit your favorite Giant Bomb moments/clips from the past year of independence (i.e., 05/25/2025-NOW).
Chuck has a new unlisted video on YouTube that provides an update on the wiki and the site! With the wiki, Chuck is working on restoring image pages for wiki pages. So, right now what that means is you can now go to any wiki page for games, right now the older ones, click "Images," and there you should see images originally attached to those pages. Presently he's busy running a script to get images to return on concept and character pages. And speaking of images, Chuck increased the image limit on articles.
Related, for those of you that have been playing around with the new wiki, what are your thoughts? Are there any ways you can image the user experience getting better? Head on over to Wiki Street Team on the Giant Bomb Discord channel and share your thoughts! That channel isn't just for people to talk about the code or architecture of the wiki. It's also the place for you to share constructive input.
Finally, profile pages are up. They aren't done but the structure is mostly there. Things that you have written and accomplished on the new and old site should be visible and obviously more changes are coming. For example, Chuck is exploring way to make it so you can follow people.
