I preordered on Amazon for the 20% off and because I had a gift card balance and I just got an email saying the release date was updated to September 22nd. What’s up with this? Was it actually changed or did amazon make a mistake?

In EU he retail is just a code in a box, which you can use to upgrade your account instantly. Has been available for months. Content goes live on the 14th/15th. Drop Amazon a message and see if they can clarify as on Amazon.com it clearly states the 22nd.

@haneybd87: If it's something they can fix, they'll manually change it so it ships on time. That said, the poster above you is right that it the Amazon page does say Sept 22 for some reason.

They might be pushing back orders or something because they've gotten too many preorders, but I'm pretty sure they would have said if that was the case which leads me to believe it's still a mistake. Either way, still best to contact them since they can tell you more than anyone else can.
