    Overview

An alcoholic beverage that is typically around 80 Proof (40% A.B.V.), although certain brands can be considerably stronger. It is usually made from fermenting wheat, rye or potatoes, however it is distilled so that usually only ethanol and water remain. Found in many mixed drinks such as Screwdrivers, White Russians, and Bloody Maries, and is a popular choice of alcohol to be found in combinations of alcohol and soda.

Aside from the obvious intoxicating properties of this alcoholic beverage, it also comes in handy when trying to cure radiation poisoning in games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, and its prequel S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. The drink's iconic status is also reflected in the naming of Vlad's restaurant Vodka, in Max Payne 2.

Vodka can also be found in Fallout 3 as a consumable that slightly increases your charisma and strength temporarily, unlike real life. Drinking it in Saints Row leads to a limited ability to control the character, just like real life.
