Both sound good, just waiting for january sales to pick the game up :D

No I don't play DJ Hero. 

Was that just the extended mix pack? Sounded VERY familiar. When are they going to throw all this hip-hop nonsense away and fully embrace the electronic/dance side of things? That's all I want out of this game.

Why do they have to fuck with Gorillaz' music?

1st Song doesn't sound so great...

I feel like they always pick the weirdest parts for these samples. For example, in the DARE/Can't Truss It part, you can hear the barest snippet of chorus in the last second. For a more accurate representation, I'd recommend interested buyers check out YouTube videos of the songs.

Not playing DJ hero, so this doesn't interest me too much.

That was the last/first DLC though. These tracks were available at launch, as the "Extended Mix" pack..

Supposedly there should be a "David Guetta" 3-track pack coming, as the game's main menu scroll has been telling me. According to the in-game thing it should have been out already actually..

It's a fun game which could have been made even better with better DLC support. Sad to see it being handled this way already though, nobody caring about release dates and which trailer they send out. But then again, Guitar Hero DLC is hardly up to scratch with the Rock Band stuff either, so I guess it kinda was doomed from the start.

Apart from that there's also the whole "not really a party game" thing going against it.

Hopefully Activision will do a more fully formed and polished sequel or something next year, and actually market the game that time, and not just dump'em out as they've been doing this fall.

Pricing? I think the "Extended Mix" pack was 560 points, more expensive than other music stuff, because it's more licenses per one playable track in the game with the mixing and more work and stuff. I got it for free with my GameStop preorder though..

Edit: Never mind what I said about missing release dates. I just checked, and the David Guetta pack is actually up now. Was not up when I checked before lunch today though GMT+1 time. Must have been upped this evening..

The David Guetta pack is 640 points for three tracks. Will probably grab that tomorrow..

Pass. I would like to play but the game is overpriced and so is the DLC. I'll wait to look for it in the bargain bin.

The music sounds so random and disjointed.

I actually DJ so i have no need for this game. Also I don't think it's as fun when you use other peoples tunes i wish more people came up with their own mixes and beats tbo.

This pack came out about 3 weeks ago.

I wish they'd release a pack of electronic music mixes - all drum & bass, or  house.  Or maybe have some Chemical Brothers megamixes.
 
The hip-hop mixes are mostly okay, but I'd like more musical variety than the game currently has. 
 
I'd also like them to include some songs by DJ's like Kid Koala, who don't just mix two records together - they create whole new songs filled with intricate scratching and stuff.
