    The Armory is, essentially, the menu in which players customize the look of their Spartan in Halo: Reach.

    Concept

    The Armory is a feature in Halo: Reach that the player uses to customize their Spartan soldier to their heart's desire.   

    The armor is split in to the following categories: 
    • Helmet
    • Left Shoulder
    • Right Shoulder
    • Chest
    • Wrist
    • Utility
    • Visor Color
    • Knee Guards
    • Armor Effect
    • Firefight Voice
    • Emblem
    • Colors

    The player uses Credits (accumulated by completing challenges, killing enemies and essentially playing the game) to purchase different pieces of armor. Some armor pieces may be locked (or not even viewable in the menu) until the player is of a higher rank. The Spartan that the player creates is used for Single player/ Co-Op Campaign, Firefight and Matchmaking.
