    Together with guitarist Andy Summers and Stuart Copeland, he formed The Police in 1977 and released a string of hit singles and albums. The band broke up in 1984, and Sting went on to have a successful solo career and later reuniting with The Police for a one-off tour in 2008/09.
     
    Sting's music as part of The Police has appeared in numerous music games. "Message in a Bottle" featured in Guitar Hero 2, and "Next to You" featured in Rock Band. Guitar Hero: Rocks the 80s features "Synchronicity II", and a track pack of songs ("Can't Stand Losing You", "Roxanne", and "Synchronicity II") is available to download in Rock Band. 
     
    Game character Random Hajile is based on Sting as he appeared in Dune.
