I don’t know why MachineGames decides to produce these mediocre standalone titles with Youngblood and now this. Pressure from publisher because of Wolf 2’s success? Or just a personal want? In any case I think it’s a mistake. Even The Old Blood could have been scrapped imo though it was decent enough. But they should really have just focused on just making a mainline trilogy.

I'll probably grab this on my PSVR. Enjoying playing Youngblood with a buddy and I'll take pretty much any excuse to be in the Wolfenstein world some more.

There's some neat ideas in here but it doesn't seem particularly fun.

This looks bad. But I hated Wolflenstein 2 so...

It was always intended to be a blanket label for all of our VR coverage, it's not just one format. The idea is that VR is still a confusing and questionable platform and people who are on the fence about it should be able to easily get to everything we've done on the subject as a purchasing resource.

Shame about this. I feel like the sheen on short, pricey VR "experience" games has worn off, and this should have been a meatier thing.

@brad: I'd rather every VRodeo was a roundup of multiple cattle, but I see the sense in having all VR coverage under that label. I've just took the plunge with PSVR since the Mega Pack was under £200 with a free copy of Blood & Truth.

Is this the wireless headset that Jeff was praising? Can't tell if there are wires or not.

People are judging this as harshly as one would expect, but I'm really okay making concessions with these kinds of VR games because each one is like a rung on the ladder that gets us to where we all want VR to be.

@lavendertownspo: No, this is a PSVR headset for the PS4. The wireless one is the Oculus Quest.

So these are the same assets from Youngblood, right? A game that is already full of reused assets and microtransactions. This sponge feels dry as fuck.

Also, this somehow looks simultaneously like the AI is non-existent, while your character is made out of tissue paper to compensate.

Man, between this and Youngblood, Bethesda is trying really hard to kill the Wolfenstein IP.

This looks pretty boring, walking around in a robo dog with no sort of feedback or inertia, basically looks like your skating or on rails even more so then this on rails phoned in VR experience there touting as a game.

This just goes to prove that VR still, for the most part, sucks.

Where has the AI gone? Like you have groupings of 3-4 enemies standing in the middle of the road to flame down, and it takes like 3 seconds before they acknowledge you. Like this just feels like a very pretty version of a bad 90's shooter.
