oh nice! cool to see some coverage on here for this game. i found it does benefit from taking some extended breaks between campaigns (doing them back to back gets a little repetitive), and the modular story components don't flow quite like a bespoke narrative would- but i think for what this thing is trying to do, it's a huge success!

Just a heads up, this game is way more fantasy DnD x-com than it is a Rouge-Lite.

The thing that carries between campaigns are Legacy Characters and they're very cool, but you certainly don't want to have a total party wipe mid-campaign, just like you wouldn't want that in DnD.

This game is super cool.

If I’d started playing this game earlier than a few days ago, it would have messed up my entire GOTY list. I’m really digging it, and they seem to be adding campaigns as free updates on the regular. I’ve only completed one campaign, so I haven’t dug into the legacy mechanics as much as I’d like, but it has a lot of promise to be something I sink a whole bunch of time into this year.
