Man, Tekken Tag is awesome. I played that game a shit load as a kid.

I could never get into Tekken Tag due to how fucking horrible the backgrounds look. It always gave me headaches and made my eyes hurt.

No matter how awful these characters look, they still do not come close to the hideously hacked together designs of Mortal Kombat. CG never ages well, though.

If they bring back all the old characters like Kunomitsu, doctor B, Tiger, different jacks ect ect I'll defonatly get TT2.

I just hope they stop releasing it as arcade version where everyone is unloced straight out of the box. I used to love going trough arcade, never knowing who would be unlocked next. I don't care much about online play, so sure, keep it unlocked there, but let me enjoy a little single player fun before I play it with all the charaters later on how its supose to be played: coach co-op!!

The main video image confuses me in so many ways...

I just thinks it's crazy that this could be anyone's bottom of the list Tekken game. This is one of the best ones.

I dunno about you guys, but when  I hear "HD", I don't expect the product to look like hot garbage. Also, they haven't said anything about it so maybe it's just me, but the audio quality sounds horrible, like something out of a 3DS game. If this is what a Namco fighting game looks like these days, maybe I should rethink my positive feelings towards Soul Calibur V.

To all the kids out there who think dubstep is the future or, y'know, predominately not shit, we thought the same thing about hair metal when I was your age.

wow they pretty casual in fighting games especially in tekken. kindda remind me of my 9 year old neighbor and 10 year old cousin plays tekken tag 1 back in the days no offense hahahaha.

every average to hardcore/guru of tekken players love the round system where one character of a tag-team goes down means the end of the round.

edit: wow they did 10 hit combo near the end of the vid. that reminds me of myself back in the days. i thought 10 hit combo is the shiet! but these days tekken have online compete with others worldwide.... and.... wtf? got juggled everytime.10 hit cant beat juggle. i start to learn juggle in 6 but i was presart learn juggle in 5. tekken 3 and tag 1 i thought i was the best cause i know every character 10 hit combo. play online in 6 and i was nothing. had to learn heavy juggle. now im like pretty decent. above average.

Have not cared about Tekken since Tekken 2, so...well maybe Tekken 5 with roommates but This series now and then feels flat to me.

Boy, Tekken is really stupid.

As an outside observer who has never played a Tekken game, my first impression is that Tekken is super weird.

Tag is my absolute favorite Tekken game and I wouldn't dream of buying this for 40 bones. So who is this for??

I remember the Tekken anime movie.

It was horrible. Very horrible...

Tekken 2 was the first game I bought for my PS1. I have not cared about another Tekken game since that time and I don't foresee that changing.

Tekken is such a boring series.

Two underage schoolgirls in short skirts, two horrifying devils. So... Japan, then. Got it. Check.

I was in Tokyo last week and I played a load of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 in the arcades. It's pretty sweet, there's some great throw combos using both characters.

The game looks graphically sharp, but from an art design point of view this game looks awful! so generic and overcomplicated.

edit: and i'm not a tekken hater, paul is an example of great character design... that hair and that jacket! slick and memorable.

I was eating at a pizza place last night that had an old Tekken Tag Tournament arcade cabinet. I played it, and then remembered that I didn't really like Tekken Tag Tournament very much. :(
 
But they also had King of Fighters '98 (in an X-Men vs. Street Fighter cabinet for some reason), which is maybe the best KoF ever, so it was all good in the end. :)

I hated Tekken 6, but I didn't give it much of a chance so I'll be buying this and trying my best, as I am fan of dem fighting games. Also I'm not one to get giddy for video game girls but those portraits of Alisa and Xiaoyu look fucking good.
